Hey Lazyweb, I'm about to have to start pumping out words related to my upcoming venture. Some will be internet in scope, some will be specific to goings-on in DFW. Substack seems to be all the rage right now but I'm wary. Previous ventures used Convertkit, and it's just ok. I'd like to have more control over the content (i.e. on my own domain) without having to copy-paste it everywhere. What are my options?
I just today learned about the HTMLElement: dataset property. In my defense, I haven't written much JS in years, and have been almost exclusively in Ruby land for almost 2 years.

So. JS-bloated web pages have crashed my computer 3 times now. (I'm back on my small but plenty beefy Ubuntu desktop now.)
1. Notion running in Firefox
2. Notion running in Brave
I believe both of these were while trying to edit a metadata value on a page.
3. ADPList, just loading a page
I guess I will start by googling why it is crashing my entire computer and not just the browser(s). Both are installed through the snap store, so in theory are sandboxed (or whatever?)
