@NNN my newest set for my cantilevers are just black Tektros from my LBS and they're working great and relatively quiet given the circumstances
@NNN I'm already coaching our college senior (in a 5-yr arch program) that if he can land a job in NYC, Chicago, etc, he can skip the car thing and have a lot more money in his pocket. If he doesn't, I'm considering giving him my car and getting an electric motorcycle for my occasional trips. Or maybe an ebike, if I can find one small enough to fit on a crowded train, but at 6'3" even my normal bikes are a challenge on the train.
