A couple of clicks away from[1] I find mbcbftw.museum ...this was absolutely my jam in the early 2000s. So pleased people are still doing this kind of thing.
aw heck yeah super new to me music 💃
The masterclass of digital aesthetics that is @fish 's output has a new addition: "The Future is Possible! a manifesto for the NEW and the NOW"
So pleased I'm "following" them on itchio, I might have missed this

"If you’re on Hinge, you’re running a personal optimisation campaign with a side order of digital admin...all of this bureaucratic wrangling to get a blue tick is unpaid work we do so the platforms will pick us and the databases will know we’re real."

Reading this right after filling out the most horribly designed/built online medical form for a consultation about my shitty right eye I had cataract surgery on last year (my biggest problem before I broke my hip)
"If I had more time, or was better organised, perhaps I’d chat to the greengrocer, take my laundry for a service wash, and get to know some more people in my neighbourhood. But that feels like a Disney movie model of domestic management, that I’ll only have time for once my other responsibilities start to peel away. And of course...I don’t have any apps that can strip the beds, empty the bins, walk around the house picking up socks, or notice when the windows suddenly really need cleaning."
168 days. I sleep in my socks only because taking them off and putting fresh on is a particular torture I reserve for only when absolutely necessary. I'm much more of a mess because picking things up off the floor is difficult. The MRI was inconclusive other than the ligaments are intact and attached. The bone still has "residual marrow edema throughout the anterior acetabular column." I'm trying a hip compression sleeve and, God help me, a homeopathic ointment made from French flowers.
This year I discovered Letterkenny, binged all the seasons over ~2 months, then moved straight to Shorsey.
"You’re absolutely right! I was able to attend the meeting, but, and this is the load-bearing argument, I simply decided not to."
